1. Enjoying the Cigar
This is a great and creative idea if you and your groomsmen are a fan of good cigars. As the wedding photographer, you can have all the groomsmen pose as if they are smoking cigars, with the groom holding a larger piece while seated at the center or standing at the edge.
You may also pose only the groom smoking a cigar while the groomsmen surround and tender to his other needs, such as shining his shoes or offering him a drink, as depicted in the image above.
2. The Jumping Groomsmen
This is a simple, creative, and straightforward posing idea for groomsmen. Simply tell the groomsmen to jump in the air simultaneously and capture the shot immediately.
Getting a great shot of the groomsmen in the air might pose a little challenge. Thus, I recommend you try it a few times and capture several shots.

3. Walking Behind The Groom
Another creative power pose is to have your groomsmen walk behind you while you take the lead out of a garden or house. You may tell your wedding photographer to take the shots from both the front and behind.
4. Carrying the Groom
You may also have the groomsmen lifting the groom in the air while you click the picture. You can have one or two of the groomsmen carrying the main man on their shoulders, surrounded by the remaining groomsmen. Or you can have the groom being lifted and tossed in the air by all the able-bodied groomsmen.
5. The Toast
Your wedding day is worth unusual amounts of toast. Have your groomsmen around you holding up their glasses in a toast while standing in their midst with a bigger glass. Although it is a posed style, ensure to keep it natural.
As the wedding photographer, keep an eye open to know and click the photos when the groomsmen are toasting and least expect a shot from a trained professional.
6. With the bridesmaids
Another creative idea is to have all groomsmen posing with all the bridesmaids. You may have the bridesmaids seated while the groomsmen stand behind them, or you can let them pose as they might see it.
You can also pose all the groomsmen with the bridesmaids and couples. Ensure a good background and color-related props are used. This will make the images more beautiful and creative.

Another style is to have all the groomsmen stand in a row or around a bike with serious facial expressions. This style is ideal if your squad is made of big-bodied men.
